We've long been acknowledged as a pioneer in the field and now PMI membership represents a truly global community with over 220,000 professionals, representing 150 countries. PMI professionals come from virtually every major industry including, aerospace, automotive, business management, construction, engineering, financial services, information technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and telecommunications.
Benefits of becoming a member of PMI Michiana Chapter
The Michiana Chapter is made up of approximately 75 members and serves a large geographic area including Southwestern Michigan and Northwest Indiana . We offer many opportunities to network with peers and keep current on best practices in project management. Some of these personal and professional benefits include:
- Monthly Speaker Dinner Meetings - Monthly dinner meeting from September to June is held for PMI members. These meetings provide a platform to connect, network and learn.
- PMP Certification Preparation Courses ( PMI members pay discounted examination fees)

How to become a member of PMI Michiana Chapter
To become a member of our PMI Chapter, you must first be a member of the Project Management Institute, and through PMI , you will be able to join our Chapter. Click here for information about PMI membership and to apply;You can apply online. When you apply for membership, you can join PMI Michiana for the additional chapter fee of $20. If you are already a member of PMI , go to Global PMI website and click on Member Log On. When you're at your Member Information Home page, scroll to the bottom and under Components, click on Add Chapter.
After you join the PMI Michiana Chapter, you will:- Automatically be added to the PMI Michiana Chapter roster (it might take a few weeks for PMI headquarters to notify us);
- Receive a New Member Welcome Packet that explains all of the services available to you through the PMI Michiana chapter;
- Automatically be enrolled in our Chapter newsletter delivery service
